Get the word out to your teachers about the AAAS/Subaru Essay Writing Competition! This contest offers K-12 teachers the opportunity to share their knowledge on designing science lesson plans and integrating technology into the classroom. The annual competition, open to teachers in the United States and Canada, will honor the ten best entries at the 2009 AAAS Annual Meeting in Chicago in February. The award includes full registration to the meeting, a $400 stipend for travel-related expenses, and a subscription to Science Books and Films.
The competition is now open for submissions! The deadline for entries is Monday, December 8, 2008.
