Science NetLinks Afterschool is a new resource for afterschool facilitators and daycare providers who would like to bring more hands-on science to the children in their care. The project offers a variety of experiments and online activities that students can do with their aftercare providers. Each activity includes a facilitator page with instructions for setting up and running the activity, as well as an explanation of the science involved in plain English. Science NetLinks hopes these activities will help providers feel comfortable adding more science activities and experiments during the afterschool hours. New activities will be posted every couple weeks until we have all 16 activities posted.
